SC writ petition against impeachment of Chief Justice

KATHMANDU: FEB. 24 – A writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against CJ Rana’s impeachment.

Dr Punya Khatiwada and Deepak Mishra, both advocates, have filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court against the impeachment motion filed in the federal parliament.

The petition asks for an interim order dismissing JB Rana’s impeachment motion and reinstating him in office.
