Clash in New Baneshwor, police fired tear gas and water cannon

KATHMANDU: FEB. 24 – The clash broke out between police and the gathered protester to oppose the MCC agreement. The clashes have heightened tensions in the New Baneshwor area.

After attempting to breach the police barrier, police fired tear gas and water cannons at the protesters who were protesting against the MCC.

Protesters have pelted police with stones and bricks, and police have responded with tear gas and water cannons.
