Buddha added another ATR-72, aircraft number reached 16
Buddha's plan to make Pokhara a hub for direct flights to various destinations in the country.
KATHMANDU: FEB. 24 – Last evening, Buddha Air added an additional ATR-72 aircraft. According to the press release, the flight service will be provided within two weeks of completing the necessary paperwork for the aircraft with the callsign 9N-ARP.
Flying from a larger aircraft will lower operating costs and make airfare more affordable and convenient. As a result, Buddha Air has introduced 72-seat aircrafts. This brings the total number of Buddha Aircraft to 16. As a result, there are 11 ATR-72s, three ATR-42s, and two Beechcraft Aircraft.
Buddha Air is committed to providing consistently comfortable and straightforward fares. Since last January, the ‘dollar’ airfare for international passengers has been reduced by 80%. Similarly, the fare for international nationals residing in Nepal for a period of six months, which was previously 75 percent, has been reduced.
According to a press release from Buddha Air, the lower fares will help a lot in attracting tourists. This will also be beneficial to the tourism industry.
