KMC conducted free health camp in Nuwakot

NUWAKOT: FEB. 24 – On Wednesday, a free health camp was held in Nuwakot. In collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal, Kathmandu, and Hamro Madanpur Youth Club, Belkotgadhi Municipality-12, a one-day free camp has been organized.

A total of 1,103 patients have been treated free of cost at the camp at Bhrikuti Secondary School, Belkotgadhi. Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, said that 221 people underwent a blood tests, 198 underwent video X-rays and 177 underwent ECGs.

Similarly, 31 teeth were extracted, and 42 patients who were unable to be treated at the camp were referred to a hospital for surgery. On Monday, KMC held a free health camp in Rasuwa, treating 963 patients.
