National Life Insurance Celebrates 35th Anniversary
KATHMANDU: FEB. 23 – National Life Insurance Company Limited has celebrated its 35th anniversary. The company has celebrated its annual festival by organizing various programs.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the company has conducted a blood donation program at its central office in Lazimpat. More than 50 employees of the company donated blood at the event.
Similarly, a feeding program has been organized in 34 old age homes across the country. Similarly, various sports programs have been conducted among the employees. No formal gathering was held due to COVID-19.
Established as one of the leading life insurance companies in Nepal, the company has made good business progress in the current year like last year.
The company has proposed to pay 19 percent bonus share and one percent cash dividend for tax purposes from the profits of this fiscal year to the next general meeting. About Rs 50 billion has been deposited in the life insurance fund of the company.
The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 3.39 billion. After the proposed bonus share distribution, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 4.3 billion. The company has succeeded in giving excellent bonus rates to its insured in the fiscal year 2076/077.
The company has given a benefit of Rs 64 per thousand to a maximum of Rs 85 per thousand to the insured for this financial year. The company has also started the process of constructing its own building in the branch office this year.
