Not to stay in Ukraine except for urgent work: Ministry of Foreign Affairs

KATHMANDU: FEB. 23 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged the Nepalese living there not to stay in Ukraine except for urgent work.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry urged people not to stay in Ukraine except for urgent work and to return home by boarding available commercial flights.

Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Nepalis not to travel to Ukraine unless absolutely necessary. Tensions with Russia have resulted in a rash of violent incidents in Ukraine, according to the ministry.

The Ministry also said that Nepali citizens residing in Ukraine can contact the Nepalese Embassy in Berlin at the following address if required.
