LOSAPA’s decision to vote in favor of MCC

KATHMANDU: FEB. 23 – The Democratic Socialist Party (LOSAPA) has decided to stand side with the MCC. MP Chanda Chaudhary said that the decision was taken at a meeting of the parliamentary parties held on Wednesday. “The LOSAPA has already sided with the MCC,” said Chaudhary.

With 13 seats in the House of Representatives, LOSAPA will support Congress in passing the MCC, said Chaudhary. “It simply came to our notice then. Stepping back from this raises questions about the country’s credibility. One thing would have happened if no agreement had been reached beforehand. LOSAPA has a clear view that once an agreement is reached, it should not be thwarted. So we vote in favor. ‘

This decision of the LOSAPA has given relief to Congress, the leader of the government that the MCC must be passed.
