Meeting of LOSAPA parliamentary parties being held to take a decision on MCC
KATHMANDU: FEB. 23 – A meeting of the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSAPA) is being held to decide on the MCC tabled in the parliament.
The meeting will be held at the party office, Babar Mahal, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, according to MP Ekwal Mia.
According to him, today’s meeting will cover a variety of topics, including MCC. “The MCC is the burning issue right now,” said MP Miya.
LOSAPA, which has been claiming to be in favor of MCC Nepal’s infrastructure development and the prosperity of the Nepali people, will take a firm decision on this today. Earlier, LOSAPA leaders had been saying that it would be better if MCC was implemented in Nepal.
LOSAPA has 13 seats in the House of Representatives. The Nepali Congress, the leading party in the government, has sought the passage of the MCC along with LOSAPA. LOSAPA has also assured that it is in favor.
