17 points increase in NEPSE, attracting investors towards hydropower companies
KATHMANDU: FEB. 22 – The stock market rose by double digits on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week. On this day, the share market index (NEPSE) has increased by 17.42 points and reached 2735.93 points. The Sensitive Index also rose by 4.36 points to 523.15 points.
On this day, 6 million 81 thousand 602 shares of 228 companies were traded at a price of Rs 3 billion 21 crore 28 lakh 87 thousand 8 hundred 22 rupees. Of the companies traded, share prices of 131 companies rose. Share prices of 50 companies have declined.
Share prices of hydropower companies such as Malungkhola Hydropower, United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower, Samling Power, Tehrathum Power, Barun Hydro, Ghalemdi Hydro and Nyadi Hydro have risen the most on this day.
In the days after the MCC grant assistance agreement, which will help in the construction of transmission line infrastructure, was tabled in the parliament, investors have been attracted towards the hydropower company.
In terms of turnover, the majority of hydropower companies are seen in terms of turnover and amount on this day. Among Sahas Urja, shares of companies like Bhotekoshi, Nyadi, Arun Valley and National Hydro have been sold.
Shares of companies such as Civil Microfinance and Prime Life Insurance have declined.
On this day, out of 13 group indicators of the company, 11 group indicators have turned green.
