Oman advanced to semi-finals by defeating Philippines

KATHMANDU: FEB. 21 – Oman has advanced to the T20 World Cup qualifiers semi-finals. Oman advanced to the semifinals after defeating the Philippines by just 17 balls.

Oman reached the 36-run target set by the Philippines with only one wicket lost in 17 balls. With the win, Oman has secured a place in the semifinals.

Oman’s Khurram Nawaz played an unbeaten inning of 33 off 12 balls. Similarly, Kashyap Prajapati scored 4 runs. No player was able to score a double run for the Philippines, which won the toss and elected to bat first.

Oman’s Khawar Ali took the most 4 wickets. Similarly, Kaleemullah, Fayyaz Butt and Aamir Kaleem took 2-2 wickets.
