Unified Socialists call a secretariat meeting

KATHMANDU: FEB. 21 – After the MCC is tabled in parliament, a secretariat meeting has been called to decide the party’s stance.

Jiwan Ram Shrestha, party secretary, informed that the meeting would take place after 1 p.m. On Saturday, the standing committee decided to allow the MCC to be tabled in parliament but not to approve it in its current form.

After the MCC agreement was tabled in parliament on Sunday, Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal stated that they were adhering to the previous meeting’s decision.

Leader Jhala Nath Khanal, on the other hand, expressed strong dissatisfaction.
