KATHMANDU: FEB. 21 – Nepal is playing with Canada today in the third match of the ICC World T20 Cricket World Cup selection. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. at the Emirates Cricket Ground.

Nepal, which is in Group B, hopes to win its third game in a row by defeating Canada today. Nepal defeated Oman by 39 runs and the Philippines by 136 runs previously. In two games, Nepal has scored four points.

Nepal comes in first place. With two points from two games, Canada is in second place. Nepal will advance to the final four as the group winner after defeating Canada. If Nepal loses to Canada and Oman defeats the Philippines, the net run rate will play a significant role.

If Oman loses to the Philippines and Nepal defeats Canada, the net run rate will determine Canada’s, Oman’s, and the Philippines’ chances of reaching the semi-finals.

The top two teams will advance to the semifinals after the group stage match. Both finalists will be selected for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia from Oct 16 to Nov 13.
