MCC presented in Parliament amidst slogans

KATHMANDU: FEB. 20 – The government has presented the American project MCC in the parliament amid the slogans of the UML MPs.

Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, the government’s spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, has submitted the proposal to parliament. Karki made the proposal on behalf of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Though it was agreed that Finance Minister Sharma would present the proposal on the agenda, Minister Karki submitted it after he was not present in Parliament.

Following the agreement reached between the ruling coalition’s parties, the proposal was submitted to parliament in accordance with the agenda set by the Business Advisory Committee meeting.
