Parliament meeting begins, UML protests continue

KATHMANDU: FEB. 20 – The House of Representatives has begun its meeting. The main opposition party, UML, began protesting as soon as the meeting began.

The meeting had begun, according to Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota. They chanted slogans like “Maintain parliamentary dignity.”

The UML has demanded that a notice of action be posted against 14 lawmakers.
