Protests against MCC in Baneshwor [Photos]

KATHMANDU: FEB. 18 – Protests against the MCC are taking place in New Baneshwor. The Yong Communist League (YCL) and the All Nepal National Free Students Union and the CPN-Unified Socialist closed to Youth Association are protesting.

Youth Association closed to UML has protested by burning tires in the streets. Likewise, there was a general brawl between the YCL and the police. They protested after the MCC table was announced during today’s parliament session.

No MCC table has been set in today’s parliament meeting. Leaders of the ruling coalition have begun discussions about holding the MCC table at the parliament meeting on Sunday.
