Next meeting of HoR to be held on Feb 20

KATHMANDU: FEB. 18 – The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Feb 20. After the report of the Indigenous Nationalities was submitted amid the slogans of the main opposition UML, the meeting was postponed for two days.

Dilendra Prasad Badu, Law Minister, had submitted the Indigenous Nationalities report to the House on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

As soon as the meeting started, UML lawmakers stood in the lobby and started chanting slogans. Following this, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkata provided Minister Badu time to submit the report.

Following the submission of Minister Badu’s report, the meeting was adjourned till 1 p.m. on Feb 20.
