Parliament sitting, such is the agenda

KATHMANDU: FEB. 18 – The meeting of the House of Representatives is being held today. The fifth meeting of the tenth convention is about to take place.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 1 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. In the meeting, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is likely to submit the report of the Adivasi Janajati Commission of FY 2077/078 BS.

Today’s meeting discusses the US Assistance Project (MCC) table. However, the MCC is not on the possible agenda made public by the Parliament Secretariat. For a long time, the lawmakers of the main opposition party CPN (UML) have been obstructing the sittings of the parliament.
