Congress rescheduled 16-district conventions

KATHMANDU: FEB. 17 – The Nepali Congress convention of the remaining 16 districts has been rescheduled. The 16-district convention has been postponed by Congress for two days, and will now take place on Feb 27.
The Nepali Congress (NC) Central Election Committee has announced that the convention scheduled for Feb 25 has been postponed for two days.
Congress is yet to convene in Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchowk, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Nawalpur, Banke, Achham and Kailali districts.
Despite the fact that the convention should have been held in these districts prior to the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, the active members were unable to attend due to a dispute.
