Director Resham Raj Acharya passes away

KATHMANDU: FEB. 17 – Film director Resham Raj Acharya has passed away. According to the family of Director Acharya, he died of a heart attack at Om Hospital in Chabahil at 8 pm on Wednesday.

Acharya, who has been unwell for a long time, was admitted to the hospital with serious health problems. Acharya’s last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Thursday morning.

Director Acharya had directed the movie ‘Tilhari’ released in 2044 BS. After that, Acharya, who directed some films including ‘Preeti Ko Phool’, is considered to be a teleserial hit called ‘Smriti’.

Acharya’s wife and a son have been living in France.
