MK photojournalist Basnet injured in a clash

KATHMANDU: FEB. 16 – Saroj Basnet, a photojournalist of Makalu Khabar (MK), was injured during the protest against MCC.

The protesters’ stone thrown at the police struck photojournalist Basnet on the head. Basnet, a photojournalist, suffered a head injury while working on the photo collection. After the treatment, Basnet’s health condition is normal.

Several protesters were injured during the clash between protesters and police at the time. When the protesters were on their way to New Baneshwor, they clashed with the police.
