MCC is required, present in Parliament: Law Minister Badu
KATHMANDU: FEB. 16 – Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu said that MCC should be taken forward as it is necessary. Minister Badu stated after the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday that MCC should be introduced in the parliament because it is necessary.
“The MCC is required,” he stated. I presented it to Parliament. After reaching an agreement on a five-party alliance, Minister Badu stated that the MCC would be presented at the House of Representatives meeting on Feb 18.
“Let’s take a break and talk about it one day.” The Maoists have also agreed to meet and present their case. ‘Discussions are taking place between all parties,’ he said. Consensus is reached at the last minute. The Maoist center comes to an agreement as well. The MCC has been introduced in Parliament.
Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda met today in Baluwatar and agreed to hold decisive MCC talks on Thursday.
