Parliament adjourned, next sitting on Friday

KATHMANDU: FEB. 16 – The House of Representatives postponed its meeting by passing a condolence motion.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives met at the Parliament House in New Baneshwor and passed a resolution of condolence for the deaths of Jagat Bahadur Tajpuriya, Laxmi Das Manandhar, and Dr Daman Singh Thapa.

Speaker Sapkota announced that the next meeting has been rescheduled for Friday. During Wednesday’s meeting, UML lawmakers also chanted slogans.
