KATHMANDU: FEB. 15 – Nepali Congress has dissolved the fraternal organization’s committee. The Congress Central Working Committee was dissolved at a meeting held on Tuesday at the Central Party Office in Sanepa.

According to NP Saud, a member of the Congress Central Working Committee, the meeting decided to dissolve the fraternal organization’s committee.

Most fraternal organizations’ committees, including Nepal Woman Association (Mahila Sangh), Dalit Association, Tarun Dal, Nepal Student Union, and Muslim Association, have been dissolved, according to him.

Most fraternal organizations have been unable to hold a general convention. The general convention of the Nepali Congress, comprised of 13 fraternal organizations and 18 well-wishers, had expired.

The meeting, according to Saud, gave the president, Sher Bahadur Deuba, the authority to form a new committee for the dissolved fraternal organization.
