UML demands resignation of Health Minister Khatiwada

KATHMANDU: FEB. 15 – The main opposition party, the UML, has demanded that Health Minister Birodh Khatiwada resign.

In a statement, UML Health and Population Department Chief Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai demanded Khatiwada’s resignation, claiming that he had lied.

Previously, Minister Khatiwada stated that he paid Rs 5,000 for vaccinations during the KP Sharma Oli-led government. UML stated that Minister Khatiwada statement was false and that he should resign immediately.
