Congress decides to vote for MCC

KATHMANDU: FEB. 15 – The ruling Nepali Congress has decided to vote for the Millennium Challenge Compact (MCC), a US aid project.

On Tuesday, the Congress parliamentary party made such a decision at a meeting held at Singha Durbar. According to MP Gagan Thapa, the meeting decided to table the MCC in parliament.

During the meeting, Thapa mentioned that Prime Minister Deuba had requested that the MCC be tabled.
