KATHMANDU: FEB. 14 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 747 more people in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health, COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 482 people out of 6,279 PCR tests conducted in the country and 265 people in 2,417 antigen tests.

Similarly, eight people have died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 11,900.

Similarly, with the recovery of 2,319 people, altogether 940,902 infected have been recovered in Nepal so far. The country’s recovery rate is 96.6 per cent and the death rate is 1.3 per cent.

At present, there are 20,739 active infected isolation and 113 quarantine in Nepal, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, 216,118 people were vaccinated today.
