Registration of impeachment motion against CJ Rana

KATHMANDU: FEB. 13 – In Parliament, an impeachment motion has been filed against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana.

The Parliament Secretariat has confirmed that the proposal was registered today by lawmakers from the ruling Nepali Congress, Maoists, CPN-Unified Socialists, and other parties.

The resolution was signed by 98 lawmakers. Dilendra Prasad Badu, Maoist Central Whip Dev Gurung, CPN-S Chief Whip Jeevan Ram Shrestha, and others arrived at the Parliament Secretariat and filed the impeachment motion.
