Case against 14 MPs including Madhav Nepal been scheduled

KATHMANDU: FEB. 13 – The court hearing for a writ petition filed by the CPN-UML demanding the dismissal of 14 lawmakers, including Madhav Kumar Nepal, has been scheduled for Sunday.

A separate writ petition was filed on behalf of UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and the CPN-UML, alleging that Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota did not resign despite being expelled from the party for violating the whip.

The two issues were heard together in the Supreme Court on Sunday. Despite the fact that an interim order was requested in these writs, the Supreme Court did not issue an interim order.
