Raheem’s hat-trick gave City lead over Norwich

KATHMANDU: FEB. 13 – Manchester City have maintained their impressive performance in the English Premier League. City, unbeaten since October, England forward Raheem Sterling complete a hat-trick in Saturday night’s 4-0 one-sided victory over Norwich City in the relegation zone.

Raheem, 21, scored the first goal in the 30th minute to give the team the lead. City took a 1-0 lead in the first half and doubled their lead early in the second half. Phil Foden’s goal in the 48th minute gave the team a 2-0 lead.

Then in the 70th minute, Raheem scored the second individual goal and the third for the team. Raheem, 21, completed a hat-trick in the 90th minute.

After Norwich fouled Raheem in the box area, City was awarded a penalty, and Raheem’s shot was blocked by the goalkeeper, but he scored on the rebound and completed his hat-trick in the game.

With the victory, City has added 63 points in 25 games. Second-place Liverpool has 51 points. Norwich is in 18th place with 17 points.
