Oman’s targets 136 runs for Nepal

KATHMANDU: FEB. 11 – In the four-nation T20 cricket series, Oman has set a target of 136 runs for Nepal. After winning the toss in Oman, Nepal fielded first and the home team lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and scored 135 runs.

Nepal’s Abinash Bohara took three wickets and captain Sandeep Lamichhane, Kamal Aire and Aarif Sheikh took one wicket each. Abinash bowled 4 overs and scored 26 runs. Aarif took 1 wicket for 2 runs while Sandeep scored 17 runs in 3 overs. Similarly, Kamal gave 25 runs in 4 overs.

Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood top-scored with 43 not out while Mohammad Nadib scored 31 runs.

In their first match of the series, Nepal is playing against Oman. Before the T20 World Cup qualifiers, four national series are being played.
