MCC has no military strategy: Dr. Mahat

KATHMANDU: FEB. 11 – Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, spokesperson for the Nepali Congress, stated that the project was chosen on the initiative of MCC Nepal.

Speaking at a Nepal Press Union program in Kathmandu on Friday, he stated that the US has no interest in the project because it was chosen on the initiative of MCC Nepal.

He said that lies were being spread to stop projects like MCC. He stated that no party or leader was left out of the MCC agreement and that the leaders themselves were opposed to it. He also claimed that the MCC lacked a military strategy.

He stated that it should be discussed and passed in parliament.
