Meeting is to held between Prachanda and Dr Shekhar

KATHMANDU: FEB. 10 – A meeting is being held between CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala.

The meeting is set to take place after 9 a.m. today at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar.

Dinesh Thapaliya, Koirala’s personal secretary, stated that the meeting will focus on MCC, local elections, and ending the parliamentary stalemate. Koirala met with CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli in Balkot on Tuesday.

While Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba pushes for MCC passage, Koirala has stepped up political talks.
