NEPSE fell by 22 points
KATHMANDU: FEB. 9 – The share market (NEPSE) has seen a sharp decline on Wednesday.
The market indicator, the number of shares traded, and the transaction amount all fell sharply on this day.
NEPSE fell by 22.11 points on this day, falling to 2813.47 points. The Sensitive Index fell 3.51 points to 528.99 points.
The volume of total shares traded has also dropped sharply on this day. A total of 65,20,628 shares have been traded on this day. This is very low in a market where more than 10 million shares are traded even on a normal day.
Similarly, on this day, 3.47 billion 119 thousand 182 lots of shares were traded.
On this day, the value of 20 companies has increased while the value of 165 companies has decreased out of 223 companies. Six companies’ values are stable.
The biggest gainer on the day was Liberty Energy, which gained 3.08 percent. Share prices of companies like Chautari Microfinance, Janautthan Microfinance, Life Insurance Company Nepal and Malung Khola have seen a slight increase.
The share prices of companies such as Buddha Bhumi Nepal and Nepal Hydro Developers have fallen.
