Leader of Kamal Thapa’s party starts the process of leaving RPP

KATHMANDU: FEB. 9 – Leaders close to former Rastriya Prajatantra Party chairperson Kamal Thapa have begun to leave the party.

Former treasurer Uddhav Poudel, who is close to former chairperson Thapa, announced his resignation from the party on Wednesday. Poudel announced his resignation from the party on social media on Wednesday.

He wrote, “My attempt to unite RPP has failed. As a failed student, I am very sad and emotional. The moment of living in RPP has always been unforgettable. I have ended my involvement with RPP from today. I say goodbye to everyone with best wishes. Hail! ‘

On Tuesday, former RPP chairperson Thapa announced his resignation. He is said to be preparing to form a new political party.
