KATHMANDU: FEB. 8 – The government has stated that the border dispute with India and China will be resolved through diplomatic channels.

Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said during a press conference to announce the cabinet’s decision that the border dispute would be settled through diplomatic channels on Tuesday.

The main issue, according to Karki, is the border dispute with China. On the basis of reports and realities, he also stated that the government would soon reveal the reality of the border issue with China.

‘At the appropriate time, the government makes public its official position on the border dispute with China, which is based on the report and its facts. “If there are any border issues, whether, with India or China, we will address them diplomatically, and the government will always attempt to keep them out,” Karki said.
