Kamal Thapa resigns from RPP (with press release)

KATHMANDU: FEB. 8 – Kamal Thapa, the former RPP chairperson, has resigned from the party. Thapa resigned from RPP on Tuesday, saying he was planning to start a new party.

RPP chairperson Kamal Thapa has resigned from the party, according to a statement. In the statement, he said that he left the party with a heavy heart and pain.

He wrote, “I have come to this unpleasant decision as I have the best desire to spend the rest of my active political life and enjoy the rest of my active political life by correcting the ideological deviations and wrong tendencies that have started to appear within the party.”
