In Deuba’s absence, a meeting of NC officials is to being held

KATHMANDU: FEB. 8 – A meeting of the Nepali Congress’s central office-bearers is set to take place. On Tuesday afternoon, the office-bearers will hold meetings at the Central Office in Sanepa.

Due to a busy schedule, Congress president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba would be unable to attend the meeting.

Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka would hold informal discussions with party officials in Deuba’s absence. Officials are meeting to prepare for the executive committee meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday.

An agenda has been set for the executive committee meeting to discuss the expired fraternal and goodwill organizations, as well as the districts that have yet to hold district conventions.
