KMC’s free health camp in Ramechhap [Photos]
RAMECHHAP: FEB. 8 – On Monday, a free health camp started in Pinkhuri, Ramechhap’s Khandadevi Rural Municipality-9.
A two-day camp has been organized at Manedanda Secondary School in collaboration with Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal, Kathmandu and Ward Office No. 9 of Khandadevi Village Municipality.
953 patients were treated for free on the first day of the camp. According to KMC general manager Narayan Dahal, the camp conducted video X-rays on 197 people, blood tests on 189 people, and ECGs on 113 people.
Thirty-one persons who arrived to the camp with dental difficulties had their teeth extracted, and 42 patients who were unable to be treated at the camp were referred to the hospital for surgery.
KMC has been conducting free health camps in different districts.
After Dr. Sunil Sharma took over as the Chairperson of KMC, KMC has intensified the operation of free health camps since last year. In the meantime, KMC has provided free treatment to millions of patients.
