Shishir, who left home on Thursday, is still out of contact

KATHMANDU: FEB. 8 – Shishir Bhandari, 27, of Shankhadol in Kathmandu’s Gokarneshwor Municipality-9, is still missing. He had not been contacted since Thursday morning, according to his relatives.

On the same day, the staff of Shivapuri National Park in Sundarijal searched the area for him after receiving unconfirmed information that he had spotted the park’s entrance. Shishir’s family and relatives searched Mulkharka and Okhreni in Sundarijal but were unable to find him.

The police and his relatives had also searched the area, according to unconfirmed information that the tea seller saw him in the airport area from 3 to 5 a.m. on Saturday. Four people have been arrested by Bouddha police on suspicion of robbing Shishir’s phone.

The police claimed that they only stole Shishir’s phone on Wednesday evening during interrogation. They have given a statement without any information about his whereabouts. Further investigation and a search for the missing person is underway, according to police.
