Second dose of Pfizer vaccination is being given to children in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: FEB. 7 – From Monday, students in Kathmandu Metropolitan City are receiving the second dosage of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccination centers have been set up at schools throughout the metropolitan’s 32 wards. Children aged 12 to 17 years can take the second dose with the first dose of the vaccine card if they have completed 21 days of the first vaccination.

Every day except Saturday, the vaccination program will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The vaccination campaign, according to the municipality, will last till February 17th.

The metropolitan has also instructed that all ward offices be vaccinated in accordance with health standards.
