9 killed in road mishap in south India

NEW DELHI: FEB. 7 – At least nine people died in a road accident in India’s southern state of Andhra Pradesh late on Sunday night, local police confirmed on Monday.

The mishap occurred when the car in which they were travelling hit a lorry at Budagavi village of Anantapur district when returning from a wedding.

The police said the car was badly damaged and the dead bodies were hard to retrieve from the inside.
