Prakash Sharan Mahat appointed as spokesperson of NC

KATHMANDU: FEB. 7 – The Nepali Congress has appointed Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat as its spokesperson. Dr. Mahat has been appointed as the spokesperson by President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Congress spokespersons serve as the party’s office-bearers. Deuba nominated Mahat as the party’s central member after he was defeated as general secretary at the party’s 14th general convention.

Bishwa Prakash Sharma, a former Nepali Congress spokesperson, was elected General Secretary at the 14th General Convention.
