Three killed as car crashes into parked truck
KATHMANDU: FEB. 7 – A car collided with a truck parked on the road in Rupandehi, killing three persons. This morning, three people were killed in an accident in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 12.
According to Mohan Khand, spokesperson for the Lumbini State Traffic Police Office in Butwal, a car (Lu 3 Cha 4442) collided with a parked truck (Lu 2 Kha 9772), one died on the spot and two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The deceased have been identified as Sabin Chaudhary, 28, Gobind Chaudhary, 26, of Butwal-13 and Nabin Shrestha, 27, driver of the car.
Bhagirath Chaudhary of Butwal-13 and Anish GC of Ward No. 12 were critically injured in the accident. They are being treated in the Lumbini State Hospital, according to a spokesperson Khand. According to the police, there were five people in the car.
