KATHMANDU: FEB. 7 – The weather is pleasant throughout the country, including in the Kathmandu Valley. Despite the overall effect of westerly winds, the weather is clear, according to the Meteorological Department.

Today

Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover across the country. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly terrain of State 1.

Night: In State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki, the weather will be partly to moderately cloudy and in other States, the weather will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly terrain of State 1.

Tuesday

Afternoon: There will be partial to normal transfer in State 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki States and there will be partial transfer in other States. There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places of State 1.

Night: Part 1 to partly cloudy weather will prevail in State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki and the weather will be generally clear in other States. Light snow is expected in one or two places in the high hills and mountains of the eastern and western parts of the country.

Wednesday

Afternoon: Normal to full cloud cover in Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki States and partial cloud cover in the rest of the States. There is a possibility of light rain in Karnali, some places in the far western region and one or two places in Lumbini, Gandaki and State 1. Light snowfall is expected in some parts of the high hills and mountains of the country.

Night: There will be normal to full cloud cover in the Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki, hilly areas of Bagmati and State 1 and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain in some places of Karnali, Far West, Lumbini and Gandaki and in one or two places of Bagmati and hilly areas of State 1. Light snowfall is expected in most parts of the high mountainous and mountainous regions of the country.
