Seven face charge at High Court for revenue leakage

KATHMANDU: FEB. 6 – The Revenue Investigation Department has filed a lawsuit against seven people on the charge of revenue leakage.

The Department moved the High Court, Patan against Bishal Rai of Manahari-6, Makwanpur; Mukunda Prasad Kafle of Bhimsthan-5, Sindhuli; Intayajul Haqque Munsuri of Birgunj Metropolis-22, Parsa; Santoshi Nepali of Gajuri-4, Dhading; Rupesh Tiwari of Bagahi-9, Parsa and Devlal Kushwaha whose address is yet to be ascertained.

The Department has sought a fine of Rs 5.87 million from the accused, it said in a press statement today. The case was filed on Feb 3.
