1,386 new cases, 8,704 recoveries 11 deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: FEB. 6 – In Nepal, an additional 1,386 people have been confirmed infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 1,183 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 203 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 410 cases in Kathmandu, 32 in Bhaktapur and 124 cases in Lalitpur, taking the Valley’s total to 566 cases.

In the same time period, 11 more people died, and 8,704 people were recovered from COVID-19, according to the ministry.

Currently, 45,248 people are actively infected across the country.
