JANAKPUR: FEB. 6 – The CPN (Unified Socialist) has appointed a Minister of State to the Madhesh State government (Unified Socialist). The state government has appointed Nagendra Ray Yadav of the Unified Socialists as Minister of State for Industry, Forest, Tourism, and Environment.

In the presence of state chief Hari Shankhar Mishra, Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Minister of State Yadav. Shatrudhan Mahato, the Minister for Industry, Forest, Tourism, and Environment, and Pramod Yadav, the Minister for State Affairs and Law, had previously joined the government.

At the same time, the Madhesh government’s cabinet has grown to 14 members.

The Madhesh government has 10 ministers including the chief minister and four ministers of state.
