BIRATNAGAR: FEB. 6 – Students’ organizations and youth organizations affiliated with the CPN-UML have obstructed the entrance to the state headquarters. The students went to block the road after the ministers’ swearing-in program was held at 11 a.m. today.

They have blocked the road leading to the state chief’s office and are chanted slogans. The ANNFSU and the Nepal Youth Association have opposed the swearing-in event, saying that State 1’s seven ministries had been split into 12.

Earlier, in a press conference, they had warned to disrupt the minister’s programs in Biratnagar. They have been sitting on the road on the Koshi Highway near Dhat on the entrance leading to the state chief’s office since this morning. They have even chanted slogans against the government.
