KATHMANDU: FEB. 4 – A total of 2,526 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

11,073 samples were tested across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. A total of 1,602 persons were infected after a PCR test of 6,655 samples, while a total of 924 people were infected after an antigen test of 4,418 samples.

During the same time period, 16 more people died. In the last 24 hours, 8,425 persons have recovered, according to the ministry.

Currently, 56,457 people are actively infected across the country. 55,090 infected people are in home isolation and 1,367 are in institutional isolation.
