Government honors head coach Al Mutairi

KATHMANDU: FEB. 4 – Abdullah Al Mutairi, the head coach of Nepal’s national football team, has been honored. At a function held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Friday, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba honored Al Mutairi with cash.
Coach Al Mutairi has been honored after the government decided to give cash prizes to the players and coaches of the Nepali football team that became the runners-up in the SAAF Championship Football Tournament in Bangladesh.
The government has decided to give each national team player with Rs 500,000 in cash and the coaches with Rs 300,000 in cash. On Dec 21, the government honored the national football team’s players and coaches with cash.
